Summary
We respect your privacy. The App does not require account registration to function. Before you scroll: Pray stores lock settings and prayer progress locally on your device. We use third-party services (RevenueCat, Aptabase, Cloudflare) for subscriptions, analytics, and server endpoints; those services may collect limited technical data. We do not centrally store your personal prayer content or lock settings.
What data we collect
- Local (on device): lock configurations, prayer completion timestamps, preferences, and local history. This stays on your device unless you explicitly enable a backup feature.

Third-party / technical:
- Aptabase — anonymous analytics events such as app version, device type, operating system, and feature usage. Aptabase does not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, or user-generated prayer content. IP addresses are not stored by us.
- RevenueCat & Apple — subscription receipts, purchase metadata, and entitlement status.
- Cloudflare — network/server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) when contacting Cloudflare Workers. These logs are processed by Cloudflare for security and performance purposes.
Why & how we use data
We use data to:
- Operate and provide core app functionality
- Validate subscriptions and purchases
- Improve stability and user experience through anonymous analytics
- Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
Aptabase analytics are privacy-focused and do not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, precise location, contacts, or photos.
Data sharing
We share data only as necessary with:
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Aptabase — anonymous analytics
- Apple — App Store purchase processing
- Cloudflare — secure server infrastructure
Retention & security
Local data remains until you delete the App. Third-party services retain telemetry according to their respective privacy policies. We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards; however, no system is 100% secure.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of data where applicable. Contact: beforeyouscrollpray@gmail.com . We may verify identity before responding.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
